What our Students say about Kent Raible

testimonials.jpg

Even though I had a formal jewelry education, my work didn't really take off until I started working with Kent. I started with Going Tubular and then went through Architecture of a Ring. Both those classes really helped me develop my fabrication skills and I still go back and review some of the topics that were covered.

Now I have been a Mastermind Student for several years and my work continues to improve. Not only can I build on what I learned in Going Tubular and Architecture of a Ring, but in Mastermind, I have access to Kent and the other Students to cover more advanced topics and develop and refine my own design work.

The Kent Raible Granulation Method

Kent Raible is known as one of the most creative and innovative granulation artists of his time. He creates masterpieces using the techniques he learned in Germany in the 1980’s, and has continued to refine and elevate since.

Kent fabricates complex jewelry pieces with very fine granulation, using little or no gold solder, his 18K gold alloy formula, copper salts and a blowpipe. He teaches this technique exclusively through workshops limited to six students each, in his private studio in Washington State.
